Those trolls of the information technology industry are not capable to empathize with the potential users that have their specific motivation to enjoy this cool communication tool. For those non Chinese speakers the first and fundamental information that matters to know about any announcement of a QQ new version is that if that version speaks English or not. If the new version doesn’t speak English, then it is not an up date for international users. Those poor non Chinese speakers have not any reason to up date their current version, if they do that they will suffer a lot to reinstall later the old QQ international version 5.02 for Mac. Oh, my Tim-Berners Lee! Oh, my world wide wild web lord! PS - Without any prejudice of the stated above, I just observed that the anouncement do mention “languages: English, simplified Chinese”. Who can do the big, that is a "simultaneous English and simplified Chinese version of QQ 6.0.1", can also do the small that is to explain for non Chinese speakers, using English phrases, how this new version works in English and in simplified Chinese at the same time.

Pop up update, not using App Store.

Keep poping up nitifications to ask upgrading through its official website. It’s annoying, it’s danger, and illegal. App Sotre put shame on itself by keeping silent about this violation.

Since the last update, it doesn’t work anymore… The software opens and immediately crashes. Good job ! Edit : finally found the source of the problem. It misses the file « LoginWindow.nib » in the folder /Applications/QQ.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ If you updated the app from an older version, you can copy this file from the folder /Applications/QQ.app/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/

This app immediately crashes after first starting. Where can I find this file LoginWindow.nib ? It’s my first installation. Many thanks.

after the last update, it doesn’t work anymore, it crashs immediately in Yosemite. And 4 days no solution?

how can soft be available on the app store when they don’t even work on a standard macbook !!!

I really enjoy QQ, but since the update it’s not possible to start the application. I also don’t get any error messages. My device is the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15", Mid 2014). Edit: It was before 6 month now and nothing happend. In that time I also set up my Macbook completely new. QQ isn’t working. So it’s also not a conflict with other applications.

到底有完没完，一天到晚要我输入验证码，每过5分钟，10分钟就要输入一次。烦不烦？我的ID是有运行得多“abnormally”? 这么不相信用mac的是吧？！

I am a frequent QQ user on PCs and my QQ pet (that adorable penguin <3) used 2 b my life. But on Mac QQ, it doesnt have that function. If possible, in the near future, can developers support that 2. Thanx!

Hotkey conflict with other apps; annoying Swiftly bar; separated contacts and main panel. I would have given a 0 star if I can, if Tencent really wants to add some more features, please give the users a vote. For the “added feature”, why the hack am I going to use Swiftly if I’ve been using Alfred for years, and I can’t find a way to disable it, it popped up everytime when I was intended for something else. New notification? Sorry, I don’t use qq mail or weibo and I never will. I knew the devs spent lots of efforts before rolling new version out, but please, focus on something solid. If it wasn’t for my family and friends in China, I wouldn’t have chosen to use QQ, Skype is always a better choice because of its superior audio and video qualities. I will not have a slight consideration of upgrading QQ if Tecent keeps adding junk to it.

while all my other contacts where on a pc and could video chat with each other, on a mac, it seems we don’t have this option. I don’t understand why. Really disappointed.
